Thank you, teachers.

Cards from Compendium. The perfect way to say "thanks".

Over the past few weeks we have been helping our customers find the perfect gift for the teachers who work so hard all year long to teach our little ones. If there is one thing we can appreciate at Helen Thomas, its that being a mom is more than a full time job - and next to mommies (and dads) - its those teachers who really help our kids be all that they can be! We have so many wonderful customers who are great entrepreneurs, stay-at-home-moms, pharmacists, artists, lawyers, and doctors - none of whom would be who they are today if there hadn't been any teachers to push them along the way. So, without sounding (too) corny, thank you to all of the wonderful teachers out there - we are lucky to have you!

Have you been to our store?

The fabulous wallpaper you see in the background? All wrapping paper from Waste Not Paper. Adorable, no?

Lollia, Mistral Soaps, Aunt Sadie's Candles, Potluck Studio's Cake Plates. (Some of our favorites)

These are some photos from last year we found of the store. We thought we would post them, if for no other reason than to give some of you an idea of what our store is like inside if you've never visited. Also, we change our displays almost every other day, and its fun for us to look back in our archives to see what used to go where, and just how many cake stands we're capable of stacking on top of one another! We hope you enjoy!

New Tea is in!

Do you know our neighbors?

We have the most wonderful neighbors. We're sure you have really fantastic neighbors too - but ours are really spectacular - and we want the world (or at least all of our readers) to know it. While these are only two of our down-town friends, we hope if you're not familiar with the area you will come down for a day and get to know all of the wonderful businesses in Andover. But for now, we'll leave you with:

Robert Jason Salon. Located 92 Main Street Andover MA 01810.

Robert - your team - your magical, uber-talented, outgoing team of experts never fails to AMAZE us. BTW the Tan Towels you sell at the front desk are amazing! So easy and fun to use. Its nice to know that even on a cloudy day you can have a beautiful (almost)-sun-kissed glow!

In The Pink Salon. Located 93 Main Street Andover MA 01810.

And Katrina, your Nail Shellac - is WONDERFUL. Not that we don't love seeing you every week - but what woman doesn't adore a manicure that stays looking new for multiple weeks in a row?!  You and your team do such a great job!

To our readers? Everyday is a block party in Downtown Andover. We have so many wonderful businesses  -and even more wonderful customers. We really couldn't be luckier to have such a great community - and none of it would be possible without you. Maybe now that the weather is getting nicer (well...hopefully, at least!) it would be a nice time to grab a coffee, go for a walk, and explore the great town we live in!

Stone Soup

Stone Soup Rug from Dash and Albert.

"Stone Soup" Rug Bag from Dash and Albert

"Lake in a Can" from Aunt Sadie's Candles.

It seems lately that everyone is in need of new rugs - and can we blame them? There's just something about Spring that makes us want to refresh, to recreate. What better place to start than your own home? Dash and Albert's Stone Soup collection is back by popular demand (VERY popular demand, we might add) and these pictures just don't do the collection justice. You'll just have to come in to see these fabulous colors for yourself! Your house puts up with a lot from you and your family. Give your floors a break with Dash and Albert, and fall in love with home again.
